I am not ready yet to put my dog in the Mach E I even bought a hammock style seat cover that has flaps to cover the inside door panel area. I also got socks to put over his paws. Dirt I can clean scratches no.
For a trip this long, a crate was necessary. No biggie since Grady is more comfortable in the crate than out of it in the car. He has a long and successful show career, so he loves the crate. Lashing the crate down is not easy since Ford decided not to give the US-spec MME any cargo hold-down points other than the two in the very far rear of the bed. 🤬🐩

Congratulations on the new addition to your family! The trip sounds great, the writeup is detailed and complete, and you have a new companion. I'll go full Dunder Mifflin and call this a Win-Win-Win!

Oops, I forgot to mention that on the return trip the Ford Nav once again gave me really idiotic directions when stopped in Yreka. It sent me toward another shopping area and then back to the EA station both times. Each time I had to pull over, cancel the route, and re-enter my next destination. @Ford Motor Company maybe needs to look into this. 🤷‍♂️🐩

LOL back when my original hunting Poodle Howie was showing there were only CH. He was beating the pants off of dogs that were nationally ranked until I decided I could not deal with the hair and hunt. 😊🐩

Now that I've washed the car, I find myself wishing I had gotten some PPF on the front end. Lots of little dings in the paint on the bumper. Oddly, most of them are on the driver's side. Time to do touch-ups and clean it all up. Once I get it all touched up and dig myself out of the chemo hole I'm going to get some PPF done. 😊🐩

I am surprised you did not get better efficiency on some of the return legs that was going downhill. I get the 76mph speed is a killer but I wonder how much better efficiency you would get at 65mph. My ID4 is getting 3.5-3.9 mi/kWh nowadays with temps in the 60s and I am driving 65 mostly. I wonder how the GT is going to do. Will be interesting to compare when it finally arrives!

I was too, but the trip back (esepecially the part that was the most downhill) was 20 degrees colder than the trip up. Cold temperatures stink. 🤪🐩

You can get a temporary wrap one poster here told me about...

Or a Bra/mask. This one would be the one I buy if they made one for our car. I told them if they can make one. They replied I think if there is a demand.

I'm not a fan of PPF
