Having changed my mach e for another mustang gt 5.0 i am regretting it, did not think i would miss it. However i have decided to get another mach e in particular a gt and have placed an order. I have been trying to ascertain the difference between the gt and the gtpe, the was no info on the ordering site and the pe was not showing, having not been here for a while i am not up to date with everything, will read thru past posts to catch up.

I realise i will be taking a hit but what the heck can`t take it with me.

Meanwhile any info which might be useful would be appreciated.

GTPE gains:

• Magnaride suspension
• Slightly larger front calipers and brembo logo on calipers
• Ford performance highly bolstered seats
• 34 more torque
• Summer only tires & different rim sytle

GTPE loses:

• Power passenger seat (edit - GTPE does not have a manual passenger seat)
• Cargo/map pockets behind driver and passenger front seat
• Copper trim and stitching in favor of silver trim and stitching

The passenger seat is powered. That was a typo at some point that has been perpetuated.

Also note that OP is in England. There aren't the 2 models offered. It's a GT, with some of the US-based GTPE features included such as Magnaride. I'll see if I can dig up the list, but there are definitely posts about it on here.

Not sure the GT performance edition is available in the UK.

Only option on the ford uk website when build and order is a GT version.

The Euro & UK GT is the same as the USA GT performance edition, basically they get no option to not have the performance edition option and save some coin you order a GT and you are getting the performance edition package automatically.

*edit to add, naturally there will also be euro specific features such as heated front windscreens, adaptive head lamps.

The summer tires are a PITA. I have the same ones on my 50th anniversary GT and hate them. I think I got 15k on my last set and I don’t really road the car too hard.

I like to keep the car OEM so I don’t change to a different tire. SCOOP has the same issue in his GTPE. Be aware…

Appreciate all the replies, i should have done more research before posting, have ordered a Black GT no glass roof, hate the bloody things her indoors had a Meriva but at least it had a blind. I`ve always been a fan of the folding Webasto sunroof, prob an age thing lol
