I wanted to be able to give you some good news - so I started manually going through the shipping list with your VIN.

Unfortunately I gave up after trying the first 60 or so shipping numbers ? there were so many more to still check.

To get a 100% definitive answer get your dealer to check their system called VISTA - it will show a location code such as VERACRUZ or ANT - and that will at least tell you what side of the Atlantic your car is on and possibly save you checking 100’s of shipping numbers

I have gone through the entire 500 or so from the one list already, and have not had a match appear, I was thinking about calling into the dealers tomorrow as I have a call round the corner in the morning, hopefully they might be more informative in person than over the phone.

Spot on, my car. It's at Dagenham should be ready for me to collect from dealer around the end of month.

Thanks to Wonky_Donkey I have been able to use where is my mme, I have a build date of 20220503, but tracking map still shows has being in Veracruz, with this as the latest info

• VMACS Status Description: COMPOUND IN
• VMACS2 status code: 91
• VMACS3 status code: 711
• VMACS Status Date: 29. June 2022 17:25

I am wondering if the 29/06 ties in with it being on the ship that arrived in Antwerp on 28/06 but without the shipping number I can't be sure.

Unfortunately, checking the posts for the last couple of departing ships shows over 1000 possible shipping numbers to search, and currently don't have the time to sit and check through that many.

If I get chance over the weekend I will look at trying to build a script that will parse all numbers with my VIN and search until it gets a result.

For anyone reading this thread, typically having a Status Description of COMPOUND IN and Status Date around an arrival time of a Grimaldi ship in Antwerp suggests your vehicle is indeed in Antwerp. It’s not guaranteed though but highly likely.

If you know your shipment number you can check your VIN to see if your vehicle was on a particular delivery sailing. WIMMME sometimes shows your shipping number on the shipping tab, but not always!

It was interesting to read that you can ask your dealer to check VISTA, but they can be a bit overloaded with enquiries. Some are better at customer service and information sharing than others.

As vehicles go through Antwerp port processing, EU/UK customs and movement to their onward shipping locations etc the dates can change a few times but the COMPOUND IN may not.

This whole process can take 4-5 weeks before the vehicle gets to UK Dagenham, or other Ford distribution centres if not UK bound.

After a visit to the dealer this morning, the vista system shows the vehicle still in the compound at Veracruz, but the build date shows as 25 may 2022, and not 03 may 2022 as stated on WIMMME tracker, unsure why as the VIN is correct.

Current ETA to dealership is last week of August.
