I would love to put performance tires on but I can't stand the range hit. I am hoping these are better than OEM in range and performance. They do seem quieter, but that's compared with worn OEMs so not a fair comparison.
I am looking forward to your findings on the range compared to the OEM tires. Not for me but because I have had many ask me about them and I have never been able to run the Hankooks as they are not available in the sizes I like to run. I know for a fact they are quieter than the OEM tires and in fact are one of the quieter tires out there. As far as performance, they mightl be better than OEM but in every review I have seen, the reviewers consider their all season EV tires are grand touring tire compared to the other EV all season tires they tested so will be interesting on your take with these.

I like to drive fast on the twisty roads and will go on weekend trips to the mountains just to drive them which is probably why I burned a couple HVBJB's like @heisnuts and for me these are way more grippy than the stock premium tires in the turns.

I also went wider: 255/45 instead of the stock 245/45 tires. The increase in sidewall height is visually noticeable.

This has nothing to do with Hankook tires but since you mentioned increased sidewall height, thought I would mention what I am doing later this week. Many of us have increased the tire to one or two sizes larger when replacing for more width and a taller sidewall. Every one of the tires I've tested have also been several sizes taller/wider. This week, I am trying something new. I am going with shorter, wider tires. The sidewall's will be about 1/4" less than OEM. The most important trait in a tire I look for is steering feel. This is why I run Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's most of the year. It's my favorite tire for the sharpness of the steering and on center feel among other things. Going with a slightly shorter sidewall will give me better feel because I know when I go with a taller sidewall like I have been doing, it gets a little worse. I'm kind of picky when it comes to tires.... :)

This is the wrong way to think of speed rating. It should have been called a performance rating because that is what it does. Tires with a higher rating will handle better, brake faster, and survive at higher speeds.

That being said 225/55/19 103H is the factory rating and an H or higher would be acceptable
When you say survive, do you mean risk of blowout or just wear? I am just shy of 17,000 miles and noticed my tires aren’t looking so great.

I can often smell the rubber on my car when I get home from taking all the twists at speed and that surely does not help either!
