Has anyone put 19” wheels on a GTPE?

Wasn’t sure to put this in this forum or the GTPE forum , so trying this one.
Wondering if anyone has installed 19” wheels on a GTPE? Considering going with 19” and 255/50/19 tires to save a little weight and increase contact patch. Curious if the slight increase in sidewall negatively affects performance noticeably.

I did. 245/50/19 Pilot Sport 4 All Season tires on them for winter. These wheels: https://www.fitmentindustries.com/buy-wheel-offset/M10698531P42/momo-rf-series-catania-19x85-42

Car did great. I'd stick with 245's you wont notice any difference going from 245 to 255 probably. Depends on tire brand.

Yea, definitely wouldn’t go with 18’s. But that does bring up another point. For 19” just need to check the inner barrel is large enough. If is I would assume cooling shouldn’t be an issue.

You can certainly put 19" wheels on the GTPE but it does depend on the design of the wheel. Some will work, others will not. yea, I think barrel clearance shouldn’t be an issue, but the caliper clearance could be depending on the wheel spikes and offset
