I guess what features or fixes are you expecting to get with a new update?
The only thing I want is a button on the main screens to open/close the hatch.

It's been like four years, so I don't expect this will ever happen with any new update.

What I want is the Blue Cruise fix “promised” in SSM 53133 for certain 22-24 MY vehicles with a particular error code. My car has the error code. The car was in the Ford shop for a BC fix the day this SSM hit the screen. So, no part replacement fix.

Has anyone reading this post had this particular BC issue and received the OTA fix?

I also think we're somewhat conditioned with electronic devices to have constant updates. That said, those updates often break other things in the process.

Maybe they are waiting for the majority of cars to catch up to 10.1 before releasing anything newer? My 23 doesn't have it yet. There could also be background updates you don't see. The amount out of gateway and BMS updates sent out over time feels like they've been repeatedly hunting for a "stable" release.

It's not impossible but I doubt we are totally over OTA updates.... They'll always add features if they think it can upsell premium connectivity.

I just wish the UI was a bit quicker TBH. That couple of seconds drawing each page and loading icons up feels like an age.

I mean sure, we all have a wishlist of features and changes we want. But nothing to that effect has been announced or reported as coming anytime soon.

I understand if there has been announcement or report that so and so new feature is included in x.x.x update! And people feverishly want the update to get that feature.

My response was more for the people that are saying my car hasn’t updated for X months, why is it broken, why is it not updating, is my car obsolete now?…..when there’s nothing noteworthy that the update would bring anyways.

The last major change from an update seems to be BC1.3 for the older cars. But 2024 cars already have BC1.3.

I know in the current age of tech where there’s always an update every month or two on your devices, it’s weird when the car goes many months to a year without anything. But wanting updates just for the sake of having an update isn’t really helpful. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
@SonicBlue's poll touched on it, but I think the longest-running wishlist item is Netflix on the big screen. The aspect ratio is all wrong but ... ?‍♂

Living on an island, I have no particular desire for such a thing though.

Nothing beyond 10.1.1 though? Sounds like you were just behind for some reason.
My 2024 has only updated to 10.1.0. Is there any updates beyond that?

Given the 2025s have a whole new interface (updated center screen, shift stalk instead of wheel, etc) I'm going to hazard a guess software updates will now fragment:

There (may) be updates for 2021 - 2024 and separately there will be updates for 2025+

A part of me hopes my 2024 will get the 2025 UI updates, but they won't make much sense given I have a wheel shifter.

Also by fragmenting they can focus on the 2025+ software stack and leave the older models out to pasture.

Just my 2¢

I eventually got this. A subsequent update seems to have broken it.

Pet Mode would still be nice without having to do extra steps in attempt to mimic that

You don't show you currently have an active BC subscription.
