Help- car not starting

I'm at work and don't have the fob. The car is showing no key detected but the option to enter password is not coming up. I wa able to get the car to connect to my phone and the display is active and android auto is working..

Try closing the app on your phone and re-opening it. The car will not turn on unless the Ford pass app says "Bluetooth connected"

Tried that several times. Also restarted the phone. That's how got the connection to work..phone is talking to the car..

I thought I read that pumping the brake pedal multiple times would get the PaaK backup passcode prompt to appear on the Sync screen. Could try that.

Seems like SYNC4 issue. Not able to reboot the screen. Ford help said call towing company.

So the trick is there are 2 bluetooth connections. One is for sync, one is for the key. The one in your screenshot is for sync. The one for the key isn 't visible in the BT menu on Samsung phones.

The only way to tell it's connected is in the FordPass app. The text under the lock/unlock/start buttons that will say "Bluetooth Connected"

Mine says disconnected currently as I'm not by my vehicle

I have had one occasion before where PAAK wasn't recognized even though the phone said connected. I walked away from the car. Let it lock and go back to sleep, and about 10 minutes later I tried again and it worked fine

Sorry you're getting bitten by this. It's not super common, but it does happen. When you do get this resolved, I recommend hiding a fob in the car somewhere. Just remove the battery or put it in a faraday bag (or both).

When the screen turns on when you open the door, hold down volume down and track forward on the steering wheel to reboot it. If the SCCM is alive it should reboot.
