Help finding a part - cargo rings

Several years ago there were some threads going around about the missing front cargo rings in the USA Mach-Es. There was a group who came up with a solution of manufacturing their own. However, I am several years late and was wondering if anyone in Europe could help me out, as we are still unable to order the parts here.

The Ford part numbers are LJ8B- R550A74-AB for the set of two brackets, LJ8B-R550A74-A for the right bracket and LJ8B-R550A74-B for the left bracket. These two brackets and their attached cargo rings are the two front cargo rings in your trunk. The searching code is: 2494019 and 2494020 (again for the right and left bracket)

I would be very grateful if any EU member here would be willing to check for availability of this small bracket set (about 18 cm length for each bracket) and DM me on locating any these.

sorry have not been online for some time.
I got a message from @MountainCurChauffer, he asked asked for a shippment end of Dec.
No Problem, I got the parts, packed them and took them to DHL for shipment. Today I got them back, DHL does not ship any parts above 85 EUR or 100 USD due to this:

Unfortunately no one told me at the post office!

@rreddy3, was the last one in May last year who ordered and received the delivery. I asked DHL how they can manage the shipment of the set.

Currently the set of those cargo rings is at 126,67 EUR plus shipping. If I would send 2 packages each one would cost 22,50 EUR without tracking and 47,99 EUR including tracking.

But before I enter another problem-shipment I prefer to wait and see what DHL tells me to solve the current issue.

Hello Carl, I have also been tying to find a European source to buy these front cargo rings for my '24 MME. Now I see from your response to Richard that there is an issue using DHL due to US tariffs. Once a method of shipping is resolved, would you be willing to help me also? Thank you!

That's not a DHL issue, the issue ist sitting in the White House and concerns ALL post suppliers outside the US.
Carl, you are correct about the source of the problem.

I wonder if there are other shipping options? For what it’s worth, I know we can still receive imports from BSKT in China via UPS. In addition, 5Spurs in England ships the knob crowns via Royal Mail. I wonder if Deutsche Post is an option?

It’s so good to see you here again Carl. Thanks again for facilitating the cargo rings for me … I think that was back in ‘24. Omitting those rings on the NAM cars removes the “U” from SUV.

I'm not sure what you're saying (other than America has a leadership problem), are you saying 'no problem' to helping me obtain those cargo rings? (Sorry, I confuse easily.) If so, what is the next step?

I know it would cost me more money, but can the parts be split into two shipments, to lower the shipping cost of each? I'm willing to pay the extra cost. Danke sehr!

Not a problem, thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the way things are going here I don't see it ending anytime soon. I will keep watching and if things do change I will let you know.

Team, due to the current situation with US tariffs, the Greenland issue and other open issues between the state systems, I am currently unable to make any deliveries.
Once things have calmed down and transatlantic relations have returned to their pre-2025 levels, shipments should resume.

I understand there are obviously additional... issues... with this. But regarding DHL, specifically: I do a bunch of international shipments throughout the year for work and while I basically only use FedEx for my outgoing stuff, we also have teams around the globe that ship me things (products, samples, whatever). Many of them default to DHL and we have problems with them EVERY. TIME. There are maybe 5% of shipments that go straight through, beat their estimated delivery and there are no issues. Every other one outside of that gets caught up in a game of customs limbo. There's no telling what they want, calls go unreturned. Can't tell if I need to give more info or the shipper needs to give more info. And this can go on for weeks. Sometimes I don't even think it's customs - like it's just sitting in one of their distribution centers and no one gives a shit.

When we order things or a colleague needs to send me something now, I specifically request they use FedEx because it's just easier and FAR more predictable. Even if it gets held in customs for something, I can usually find out exactly what they need fairly easily and get things moving within a day or two.

HATE. DHL.
