Is there any way to change the battery indicator on the dash from blue to another color? I don;t know what dumb-dumb decided to make this indicator (and one other I believe) the same color as the high beam indicator. When driving, I obviously don't have my reading glasses on making it very difficult to tell if the brights are on.

No, you cannot change the colors. If your lights are set to Auto Highbeam, you don't need to worry about it.

Well, you could put transparent yellow tape over the area (s) of the display that have the blue indicators that you want to change. That would make them look green(ish). I’m not recommending this, but it would (sorta kinda) work.

That symbol can be different colours:
Ford Mustang Mach-E High Beam Light and others 1778467703170-if

No idea why the high-beam indicator should be sacrosanct as the sole Blue indicator...
But it seems a lot of EVs use it as a HVB Battery Cold indicator, so Ford just kept the colour in the EV blue family...

Actually, I personally really dislike the auto high beams and have turned them off (they were in originally by default.) They seem to fade on and off rather than just turn on and turn off, and on our windy rural roads--especially in the rain-it can be hard to tell where they are at on many given moment and I hate blinding an oncoming driver. So I strongly prefer doing them manually.

As to the color of the on/off indicator symbol, I remember that fir most of the cats I've owned, blue is the color for high beams and green for low beams.

The "fading" is considered an advanced feature... They automatically sense the other lights and turn themselves down.

Got it, Rick. But sometimes "advancing" to more automated features is actually a regression IMHO...😊

From the great video Earplug posted, "colors are used to communicate information quickly and clearly" The UI designers at Ford are serious morons
