Well I think I need a recall recall because my AWD Select getting 292 miles at 86% scares me.

Yeah, hypermiling a GTPE destroys my brain. I'm all with you on this one.

If you want an MME to drive in whisper in the city maxing out at 45mph get a lower trim and save yourself tens of thousands. But I guess, to each their own.
You can visit our area and run 45mpg and sneak a 60 mph sprint on some areas. Speed traps dominate our roads. To have some real fun the back roads have twists, hills and a lot of deer. Pa turnpike is where you can accelerate to 75 mph without a ticket.

You’ll get the best efficiency if you do a full charge and set a departure time. My last road trim I was able to get 339 miles, averaging 3.7mi/kWh.

Every other trip I’ve completed without setting a departure time for preconditioning, I’ve noticed a rapid % drop from 100-95 in the first 15-20 miles of driving, as the vehicle is using more energy to condition the cabin and batteries.
Not with a GTPE.

Actually yes. Doesn’t matter what trim or battery you have. Preconditioning will aid in yielding the best efficiency, assuming you’re not flooring it all the time.

Can I get an award for driving the GTPE like a performance vehicle and getting low miles during the summer in Florida?

I’m part of early access with the “more accurate” GOM and here was my display today:

Love this - owning that you drive like Meatloaf - good. F the range if you just want o have fun. If you're traveling a longer distance just be sure you have reliable DCFC at closer intervals.

My car is an AWD Ex range premium
Cool. I have the GT - I've tagged 291 a couple weeks in the spring with low humidity and Temps in the 70s. In the summer heat, closer to 270. Winter I was experiencing 235 - 260. I don't do any pre-conditioning, so I'm pretty happy with these results. My driving style is mostly chill, with the occasional rocket punch if a Tesla 3 rolls up next to me or an ICE muscle car wants to go toe to toe off a light and there's no police in visual range. Even with that, I back off after getting north of 60 to 70 (80-90 if coming out of a ramp onto a clear highways). I don't take my.car.to the track or race beyond the jump off a light, so the 5 second rule hasn't bothered or impacted me.

It's 90 deg and range is 291. Highest our GTPE has clocked in 5000 miles and 6 month of ownership. My wife drives on whisper avg 45mph locally showing 3.5kwh avg per trip. Today is our first long drive 190 miles round trip. Will let everyone know outcome.
I’m old and drive in “Whisper” 100%, use one-pedal exclusively. In Ventura County California I travel at 72 on the freeways. I keep an excel file on all the charging/driving. To date on my 2021 I have driven 12,219 miles, used 3,461.92 kWh and averaged 3.53 miles per kWh. In the vehicle on the “My trips” this number is always higher than actual, usually 3.7/4.1.

My longest trip, left home at 94% and arrived home at 9%, drove 276 miles and averaged 3.69 kWh. This put the potential for the trip total miles at 324.72 if fully charged and this driving pattern. I have a Premium, 2 Wheel Drive with the Extended Range battery.

I wish I could take full credit for the low range, but turns out there was a bug in the calculations with the early access GOM and they fixed the bug….

Still at 200 miles at 80%, so it’s still something!

Still like your take - enjoy the money you spent for performance.
