So I have 3 key fobs that are paired to my Mach-E (two by dealer and one that I programmed myself).

let’s say I wanted to sell one ebay, how would I clear it from opening my car?

i wouldn’t want to ship my car key to a stranger that would have my address and could steal my car.

You can't do it yourself. You have to go to a dealership.

You can remove the FOB with FORScan. A locksmith can also remove it.

You could also program it to another car that wasn't yours, using the 2 FOB method.

I've have never known Forscan to do any key programming functions. That's a whole other level of security.

You can program the key to a different vehicle, but that leaves the key slot taken up in the original vehicle.

Valid second point.

Yes, FORScan can program the FOB to the vehicle, or delete it. Google is your friend.

I am staring at Forscan right now and there is no PATS programming available for the Mach E. Older vehicles with the older generation of PATS, yes. There was a cut point when they switched from the older generation of the Intelligent Access Key to the newer generation. Keys used to be programmed to the RTM. Now they're programmed to the BCM. The BCM holds the encryption keys between the key, and the PCM. It's a whole thing. You have to have NASTF credentials to even access that portion of programming in FDRS/IDS.
