Here in the US we order our car through an independently owned dealer (via Ford's website for orders or directly via the dealer if it's an in inventory car). And as countless threads attest, the process is slimy, greedy, and just overall despicable.

How does car ordering for the major manufacturers work in other countries? For the Mach E? And for other cars?

I much prefer the MME, but if Tesla's build quality was a hair better, I would just buy a model Y to avoid the Ford dealer.

Ford should do what Volvo is going to — BEVs will be sold directly through the manufacturer. No more dealer sales.

I write from Italy. When buying the new one, I offer in exchange my old car which is evaluated by the seller by discounting the price
