Hi all,
The Select trim of Mach-E offers everything I need in a vehicle; my only concern is with the brightness of the base headlights, and whether they are acceptable.
Select models get LED reflectors, while Premium models get LED projectors. Reflectors can provide strong headlight performance if designed properly, but most perform poorly.
Is there anyone with a Mach-E Select who can comment on the headlight performance? How far is the reach?
Currently, the IIHS hasn't tested a single Ford vehicle with "Good" headlights. Explorer has "Acceptable" headlights across the board (attached), which makes it qualify for Top Safety Pick+, while Escape and Edge are available with "Acceptable" headlights on Titanium or ST models only (good for Top Safety Pick).
