How Much Does Charging at a SuperCharger Cost?

My pension is getting screwed by inflation. My wallet is not bottomless. I was told it is cheaper to fuel an EV, so I have a habit of needing to verify that.

price of electricity varies by locale, and by charger....
but, so does gasoline.

as long as you know the formulas for your locale, you can priceshop to your heart's content to make yourself feel better:

$.xx / kWhr * 3.0 miles/kwhr = average cost per mile for EV
$y.yy/gallon / 25 mpg = average cost per mile for 'comparible' size/weight ICE.

...don't forget that fuel cost is only ONE thing you need to consider. The other significant avoided costs are 'regular maintenance' costs of oil changes, brake pads, coolant changes.

I paid $0.49 when I used the Tesla Supercharger a few weeks ago.

Go Eastern WA (Spokane) tesla was cheaper than EA. Only issue will be non tesla evs taking 2 spots. A tesla driver will pull up and all will be full as non tesla are taking 2 spots I would be angry. Also tesla has gotten how many magic docks installed and EA can't even fix the ones they have. EA always seems to be a shite show.
