How much for 20k Maintenance

Mine hasn't had maintenence in 3 years, well I swapped the cabin filter myself. The last 2 years at my annual inspection I said to rotate the tires and that I would pay, both times they said it wasn't not needed. So 20k, 30k, 40k, 50k and now 60k, have been zero cost, zero activity. The 10k was covered free with the car and was a tire rotation.

No, the originals were replaced at 30k, rotated at 10 and 20k. the new ones have 30k on them, have never been rotated and still look good per the mechanic. They are the hankook ion EVs, although I drove SUPER aggressive on the first set, kicking the back end out and drifting on occasion, playing with donuts and very hard launches. The 2nd set I now rollout or turn, straighten the car, then punch, so they are lasting much longer.

As a middle aged dad mostly driving my kids around I thought, maybe I should not abuse the car AS MUCH after the first set of tires.

It's hard cause it goes zoom... And that's coming from someone nearing retirement age...

My 11 year old last night driving back, "I am not as surprised by the acceleration now, when it was new my head would snap back, but now I know when you are gonna punch it and am ready, so it doesnt feel as fast......but my friends get surprised every time and I love it!"

And this is why I cant own a GT...

I do own a GT and I'm not allowed to punch it if my wife is in the car... Sounds like you might have a speed demon on your hands when she turns 16 lol

Both kids are into cars like me, will be interesting. I told him he is getting the Bolt when he is 16!

Have you gone 60k miles on the original tires?

I've got 50K+ on factory set. Plenty of tread to get me thru summer fall. Will spring for new before winter.

Mine cost $21 because I had the dealer rotate the tires. I changed the cabin air filter myself thanks to information from this forum. When I get new tires at Discount Tire I'll have them rotated there.
