Cost for 10K maintenance?

I have had mine done per the manual every 10k miles approx … so three of them so far .. ( just over 35k miles now) … cost me less than 40 each time here in SoCal (between 20 to 40 if I recollect correctly) …. It’s mostly inspection., filters, tire rotation etc., paid with rewards two of these visits.

FordPass shows the maintenance schedule.... It is not time based.

My pudel tells me the same thing ... although she's not happy about not having real thumbs, dew claws just don't do it ... but she does like her long all natural tail ...

I think points are worth half a cent, so that's just over $50. I think mine is going to be similar (based on the pre-authorization I signed) but I don't mind as they came out to me (Mobile Service) which is well worth a few extra bucks.

I say "I think," because I haven't been charged yet, as they haven't yet completed a long punch list of minor issues and seem to be bundling it all together on a single work order. Hopefully they'll be done after visit #4!

UK service intervals are 2yrs unlimited mileage!!

For me that would be 60,000 miles between servicing which it too far without having somebody going underneath to have a good look around.

First service at 18,500 miles at 6 months old before they changed the service intervals cost me c£100.

Made the dealer do a service at around 40,000 miles c18mths old.

At 80,000 miles did a full vehicle exam myself, removed wheels, swapped around, found cut to cord in tread on one tyre and the backup speaker surround had fallen into rear undershield I removed to get at the rear camber angle adjusters, squared up front & rear tracking & camber angles to suit my loading of car.

Stangy drives like a good ‘un again now.

2’1 Premium AWD ER, work from home so only have 23K miles on it, first one was like $20 and used ford points. Had same experience as other where the dealer didnt really know what to do yet. 2nd Tim for 20k miles they said it would be $50. (Got them to reduce it down to prev charge, but they said it was just one time credit) Used ford points also. I do my own cabin filter so just let them do the software updates, rotate tires and other checks.

So does Fordpass alert me when it's due? I'm at 1 year but only 5K miles and I don't see any alert/prompt. I may do it now because I didn't rotate the tires on my last Tesla and the back tires were worn out after 12K miles.

You will get plenty of warnings. I started seeing them at about 9500 miles. Not at the year marker, just mileage based.

Scheduled maintenance is in the manual. You can read it in the vehicle, online, etc.

This says change the brake fluid every three years. Anyone do that? A lot of 2021s are crossing that threshold now.

It might not be necessary to, but it's a good thing for the long haul, a decade or more, to change brake fluid.
Especially if the color is altered from fresh.
I have a ~19 year old Porsche and I'm grateful that the original owner treated it like a vehicle that might be enjoyed at 2 decades old.

I just rotated tires and checked everything out at 10,000 miles and 9 months. Cost was $0. I didn't miss the oil change.

Dealers in Calgary are trying to hose me. I got my first year service for $35. 4 separate dealers last week listed $130 for annual service for the Mach E when calling now. Anybody have any tips around these parts?
