How to Modify a Personal Profile?

When we first got our MME I set up personal profiles for my wife and me. Now that we have driven the car for several months, there are things we want to change in our personal profiles, e.g., preferred drive mode, mirror position, etc. I could find info on line and in the manual about the initial set up of a personal profile, but am having a hard time finding out how to change one once it is set up. Is there something special I need to do? Or do I simply ensure the personal profile I want to change is active and then make the change in the menu? Do the changes automatically stick, or do I need to do something to save them?

I just update my preferences then hold in button 1 for my seat position until it beeps

Correct. Get in the profile you want by hitting the number button on the driver's door. Make the changes you want. Now, HOLD IN the number button until you hear a beep.

The above answers are for mirror and seat positions. The drive mode and radio and …. are remember automatically.

Or, if you want to make substantial changes, you can delete and replace the existing profile - like setting up a new one.
