I was installing a dash cam, removed the plastic cover behind the mirror in order to run wires, and accidentally knocked the mirror off. I can tell that the back of the mirror mount is slightly tacky, so it was attached with an adhesive. Is there some way I can replace the adhesive pad with something else? If so, what? Any suggestions?

Thank you. It took me a while to get around to it, but I finally did, and mirror is back in place.

The mirror button has a pad that seemed to be solidly adhered, so I left it in place, cleaned the back of the pad, and it seems to work.
