it will show you a stop charging button and tell you information about the charging session.

But….if you stop L2 charging from the app, it will resume if you’re below the target charge level. Unless you unplug.

why stop the charge if you haven’t reached your desired level?

I do know that if you don’t set level of charge in your car then even though you stop the charging and keep it plugged in, then later it will resume and charge to 100% unless you set up the charging level.

I personally have not set the limit for my MME. I manually stop charging from my phone and then unplug my car within a couple hours.

I’m far from an expert but this is my experience.

If you set a charge desired limit, your charge will normally stop there. But you can charge to 100% on command from Ford Pass. This enables you to leave the car plugged in for preconditioning and if you live in cold climates it will keep the battery warm. Recommended below 40F.
