Well guys it’s been a ride.
I was involved in a 3-person accident last April and have been going through the legal battle and injury case. Still pending so I won’t get into details, but insurance totaled my 2021 Premium E4X

Bought a 24 Telluride and with about 4k miles per month here in SoCal I was spending over $1200 in gas. So, I sold I bought a 2023 Premium Extended RWD last week, and sold my Telluride today.

Attaching a pic of Betty. My new girl is basically the same except RWD instead of AWD for the better range, and black interior instead of white.

All in all, excited to be back. It’s so much more comfortable than the telluride.

Looking into the rally springs but am worried about losing range. Will also be adding a trailer hitch to take the bikes around for me and the kids. That’s All I have planned right now.

Any other major changes that I need to get caught up on?

Welcome back! Enjoy your new ride. As for Rally springs range loss, i suppose there is some, but nothing I’ve found problematic. That said, you clearly drive a lot more than I do. Maybe @markboris can weigh in since he recently installed them on his 2024 GT…

I also haven't noticed any reduction in range and like John said, if there is some, it certainly isn't noticeable. I started a thread of all the members I know of that have installed the rally springs and we are up to 37 now. 24 of them have left reviews and I don't remember anyone mentioning their range being affected.

I did not notice range lost after installing rally springs and sway bars. Ride improved.
How much did it cost you to install the rally springs and sway bars? And where can a person get this done?

My question exactly, too! After all the recent posts on this for improved ride I think I might go for it on my '23 but would love some forum input as to who best to do the work and what's a fair cost for labor if I buy the parts.

I posted above Larry's post (4th one in this thread) a link to a thread I started where 36 members have done this and 24 have posted reviews. Some started their own threads with very detailed information on what parts are needed, the work that was done, etc. I would at least start by reading my thread and go to the links of their reviews. Two more members are getting it done today and will be posting.

Unless you live near Mark, the most challenging part of the upgrade is finding a reputable shop. The way I found mine was first searching on Google for any places that does suspension work, then I searched for the shop on Google Maps. Searching within Google Maps allows you to search reviews, which I'm not sure why searches within Google.com doesn't allow.

Once in the review of the shops I found, I searched for keywords such as EV, and Tesla. This gave me a good idea whether the shop had experience and was comfortable working on the Mach-E. From there it's just a matter of calling the shops and seeing if they would do the work.

Pricing largely depends on your location since labor and cost of living would likely factor into the final costs. Large chains generally seemed to cost more and independent shops were usually the cheapest. The range of $750 - $2,000+ that Mark indicated in his other post is the range you can expect. Expect to find over the top pricing from some shops who don't want to do the work but would happily do it if you overpaid for the work.

Good luck!
