Nice. Can’t wait to see the final setup. I’m guessing you’re going with a smaller offset so it’s not rubbing on the shock mount?
Correct. When I ran 315's in the rear on my '21 GTPE, they were mounted on wheels that I had specially made for 295's which were 10.5"W ET47. That offset was too close for the 315's and had to modify the rear upper shock mount. The wheels I am having built for 315's are 11"W ET40. The Vredestein WinTrack Pro+ tires have a fairly flat sidewall so I should be ok. I have 3mm spacers on hand just in case I need to use them.

Ali, here it is, more than a year later that you asked about these fender flares and I am finally getting around to installing them. 😊

Mine came from Bruce at BSKT. They were demo models that were hanging round his shop. Told him I was interested in them and next thing I knew, they were at my door. I had them painted the body color because I am not a fan of the black fender molding.

My reason for getting them is, I will be going with a staggered setup again which means wider tires in the rear and I like keeping a flush tire fit. I custom order my wheels depending on the tires size I want to run. Different width tires require wheels with different widths and offsets. Getting it just right is not easy but I've been fairly good at it so far. Right now I have 21"x9.5" ET40 wheels with 275/40R21 tires. On the Mach-E all four tires have a perfectly flush fit with the fender moldings. My staggered will be like I had on my '21 GTPE with 275's up front and 315's in the rear. I have always liked the look of the tires on the BMW X5, X6 and the Porsche Cayenne. This exact size (275 front, 315, rear) is what they run and they also looked great on my '21 GTPE so going with it again on my '24. The only thing I didn't like was the 315's stuck out about 1/2" in the rear. As I said earlier, I like a flush fit.

These fender flares allow me to run a wider tire in the rear and still have a flush fit. The rear fender flare gives me 3/4" (20mm) more space and the front about 1/2" (15mm). I installed them yesterday and took some before and after photos. I also removed the AOSK mud flaps which will not work with the fender flares because they are contoured to the body and installed RokBlokz Rally mud flaps. These fender flares cover up the front and rear side reflectors so I no longer have them. Doesn't bother me and if I want, I can easily add a reflector onto them. We don't have yearly inspections here in CA so doubt I would get hassled by it.

I have my new Vredestein WintracPro + tires ready to go (first time using something other than Michelin or Pirelli) and just waiting for the new wheels to show up. I will post photos on the Aftermarket Wheel and Tire Information thread when I get everything installed.

NOTE: I installed the Rally springs on my GTP so it sits up a bit higher than a regular GTP.

If these fender flares go over the existing fender moldings, will they scratch them?

These flares are made from a carbon ceramic/fiberglass composite. They are rigid and light and the edges are rough. I tried sanding them but you just end up with more rough material. In order to get them on, you have to force the top edge up into the gap that is between the OEM fender molding and fender. The edge of the fender flares will scratch the fender moldings. What I did to protect it is apply thin 3M double stick tape across the top edge of the fender moulding but I left the backing on the tape. It is a very slick backing material so the fender flare edge slips right over the top of it and into the gap without scratching the fender moulding. The flares come with small black self tapping screws that you screw into the OEM fender moldings from the underside. Hope that makes sense.

Nice. Can’t wait to see the final setup.
Finally got my rear wheels and been running them for a little over a week to make sure there are no issues. So far all is going great! They are a perfect flush fit with the rear fender flares. After adding the 15mm front spacers, they are now a flush fit also. I do have the rally springs on my car. This setup is with my winter tires.

That looks really good!
Thanks! Really happy with the way they turned out. I was nervous trying to figure out the offset in the rear wanting the tire to be as close as possible to the shocks so I would have no poke past the fender flares which give me an extra 20mm of room. I ended up with 5mm of space between the inner tire sidewall and the shock and a perfectly flush fit on the outer sidewall. Could not have asked for a better fit. 😊
