Yes it has been discontinued. I put an order in today and the dealer called to tell me no good. I have to pick something else
My Premium AWD was ordered in Infinite Blue in February and was produced in July. Although they stopped offering the color my car was done in Infinite Blue and received 8/31.
If you do have to pick again, please avoid the Tri-white, I do not want to have to wait any longer than I already have.
Wow. I need to call my dealer and see if they'll be doing the same. Was switching to 2022 an option, or did they have to switch you to 2022? Did it change cost any or your wait time longer? They took away 2 colors I wanted only for me to be left ordering a color I've never even seen in person (DMG). I wondered if they were limiting colors to try to push people to buying the GT with more color options.

I believe it's their version of a bartender's last call. I think it means that if you weren't on the schedule for an iconic silver by then, you're getting a call from your dealer asking for you to choose a new color... but others can correct me...
I think Ford pre-determined what their color mix was going to be and when their quota slots are full the color is closed for the production year. It would make sense to fill all orders in the colors wanted but Ford probably doesn’t want all cars to be the 3 most popular colors. Normally they would mix the colors and then you chose based on what’s available at the dealer.
