My Edge had reclining back seats. So far, we haven’t missed them too much in the Mach E. I do greatly appreciate the Mach E’s 60-40 split fold though, which makes transporting (e.g) four people + skis very doable, just as it was in the Edge.

I’m much more careful about protecting the interior of the Mach E than I was with the Edge. Wrap those ski edges…

Try driving in Whisper mode, supposedly it has a softer ride.
I rode in our back seat this week for some hours, while a friend visited us, and did notice the bumpy ride compared to the front. We drive in Engage. Great idea by Flmac to buy some sort of back padding to change their comfort. I was wishing for a bit more seat
Padding.

You guys just answered my question.

Was trying to find a recline button here and on the manual.

I have a contractor right now working on my 240V outlet in the garage so I'm out here in our community center parking lot under the shade of solar panels. And am resting in the backseat.

I don't have any passengers to haul just me.

My SUV (08 Hyundai Veracruz) back seat (60-40) reclines to any position up to the max you want and it could slide front or back to a desired position.

This is not a deal breaker for me but I think for long trips with three passengers In that back; might wanting them to take more rest area stops or what not. One passenger in the back would be ok. He/she would take a position that I am doing right now with legs across and back wedged against corner head leaning on the seat.

It's occurred to me this is definitely not a SUV if they claimed it to be so, they are incorrect. SUV nowadays shoud be classified as with a third row optional flips up (like my Veracruz).

To me why I like this car is that it looks like the old school fastback mustangs. I think this the modern day fastbacks.
