Has anyone had an Inconsistent and un-wanted shifting in our Mach-E Premium - from "Whisper" to "Engage" power mode(s)?

I always use the Whisper mode (for both profiles / keys).

Sometimes I start driving and notice that it has changed to "Engage" from our standard "Whisper". It does not happen while driving - but when parked.

This occurs in a random fashion... sometimes once a week some times once a month. Mostly it happens when parked over-night and charging at home. But, just a couple of days ago I parked it for ~ 4-6 hours (in a parking lot - not charging) and it changed power modes as described above.

I brought it up to our "dealership" and not getting a lot of help.

Thoughts?

In three months and 6k miles, it has happened to me twice. (2025 RWD ext range premium). I didnt notice the circumstances... I was driving along and it felt different. I looked and noticed that it had gone to engage from whisper.

It's been happening to mine since I bought it.

No obvious consistency. Sometimes I won't happen for a week or more. Sometimes it happens a few times in a week. Only happens somewhere between powering the car on and shifting into D. If I don't notice the color change of things right away, I'll notice almost immediately when I start driving between the throttle response or braking.

I had initially thought it happened if I shifted into D "too quickly" after turning the car on, but it doesn't seem to matter.

What I have noticed is that it appears to ALWAYS start up in Engage by default (you won't always notice this) and then switches to your previous drive mode at some point in its boot sequence. So, I think there's just something glitching in that startup sequence.

I wouldn't expect a service department to be able to do anything about it unless it could actually be reproduced, consistently. Otherwise, it's just a random with no obvious association to anything. It has happened despite multiple software updates, and I can't recall any specific update triggering it at any point.

It happened to me from time to time till recently. Learnt a way to kill it from Mach- Lee. Press Whisper then reboot syncs. So far so good.

I noticed that too. I changed my habits so that I would start my car immediately. Then I hooked my seatbelt, grabbed my sunglasses, and hit the garage door button before putting it in drive. It seems like MAYBE it switches to Engage less often, but it still happens.
