Easy answer: lots of heavy acceleration at a test track. I'll bet they weren't in Whisper mode either.

rough numbers.
13% of 88 kWh = 11.44 kWH
268/.87= 308km so ~40 km driven on the track
40/11.44= 3.5 km per kWh
or 2.175 miles per kWh
(460 Wh/mile)

Kyle from out of spec motoring averaged 2.8 miles per kWh over 56000 miles with his M3 Driving it hard on the track as well as cross country and a lot of miles around North Carolina.

Given niki44's Dunton test track photos, and now this YouTube photo capture from hightechNow, the obvious pattern that's emerging is that Infinite Blue looks its best on the 14th of October.

I'd recommend a wash and wax on the 13th to get it ready for its special day glamour shots. Those of us buying an I.B. MME might consider requesting some PTO now, for next year, since the 13th will be a Wednesday.

P.S., hightechNow says he'll be sharing more photos, but for now is leaving us in suspense. I sure hope he took all of them today.

It looks like the Mach-E icon on the top right of the infotainment screen is color-matched to the car. This is clearly not important, but if it is matched it is really nice attention to detail.

I don't have ACC on my Ford, but with Honda Sensing it will not try to oppose gravity's forces unless there is a vehicle ahead of you.
