Ford Mustang Mach-E Instrument Cluster Question 20250316_083247

2024 MME Premium ER RWD with the lane centering system shut off using the steering wheel button. Speedometer is centered, speed limit indicator located immediately to its right with all other indicators located in their normal positions with one exception - the battery charge is now shown as a large, blue bar stretching across the bottom of the screen. Can Forscan be used to return this indicator to its normal position and appearance on the left of the screen? If so, how?

Change the drive mode to something other than engage and you will get a % back instead of the blue bar.

True. except Unbridle is way too sporty for me and Whisper wants to coast forever. In that regard, is it possible to use Forscan to add additional regenerative braking to Whister mode?

The different driving modes are equally efficient.

The throttle is mapped different to the pedal and the regenerative braking is changed but since the brake pedal is always blended, even in whisper it defaults to using regenerative before using the actual brakes when the driver applies the brake.

The different modes do impact energy consumption only if they change the drivers style of driving. Otherwise a driver can achieve the exact same efficiency in whisper, engage, unbridled, or unbridled extend.

Press the L button in the middle of the shifter. That’s what that button does. Or use 1P

Ahh, thank you. Didn't get that out of reading the manual. Thought it was a lower gear or something you had to use to get through an automated car wash. Tried it. It helps but still not perfect IMHO. I'm afraid that, although I want to use, or at least experience, the latest technology, I feel much more comfortable doing it the "old" way. Going to try BlueCruise next. That should scare the c*** out of me. ?

This was one of my complaints too that I gave them feedback on which you might want to do also. What I ended up doing is turned on land keeping at first it was a little bothersome, but after a while I got used to it. It’s actually sort of nice. Note that it engages at 40 miles an hour and higher and disengages at about 35 miles an hour. Also note you can adjust how much pushback it’ll give you when you get near lane line. Also, if you’re not wanting to use your turn signals, you’ll find it’s gonna push back on you when you try to get to another lane without using the turn signal.

Is hard to believe that anybody really believe the long bar with no number was better than just putting up the number with the present sign.
