Over the weekend it got in the low 80s here in Dallas for the first time since I bought my mach-e (winter purchase). I ceramic tinted my panoramic roof along with the rest of the passenger/rears and I have to say that I was surprised how warm the car got after being parked outside for a few hours. I made a mental note to use the front windshield cover which I have from prior cars. Clearly people have different tolerances for heat.
I’ve lived in the DFW area for a dozen years now and find my MME to be the coolest car I’ve experienced in our summer heat. I don’t even keep the windshield cover in my car anymore. I do have the front sides windows tinted and the lighter interior, but it’s also a very dark color (DMG) and I have no issues with the heat

FWIW, some people are prone to/have skin cancer and are more concerned about UV than others.
I live in FL and have had skin cancer removed. I get it.

But sunlight through a windshield isn’t going to need to be a concern for this issue.

I put a 70% 3M tint on both my Mach-e windshields which is the lightest tint they make and I got the one with the highest UV protection. I also put 15% tint on the roof and 20% on the sides. It made a huge difference with the heat coming into the car. Also the front ti it being so light, you can’t tell the difference at night at all. Def worth the money
