Is PPF Compatible with Vinyl Grill Cover?

To minimize seams, would PPF go over an esthetic vinyl grill cover or vice versa? Or not?

Do vinyl grill covers come with the pony area pre cut out? Seems like that would be easy to do by a manufactuer with a computer driven laser.

Talking to a few installers of PPF. They all recommend to put the vinyl over the PPF.
All of there reasoning is the the vinyl will eventually fade. A huge expense to remove ppf
to replace vinyl. Just had a thought, if the vinyl fades, just put another piece on top of the PPF. I'm going to put vinyl on top. If I want a change the look. $70.00 for the Vinyl $50.00 labor.

When I asked a local installer for PPF this question, they told me PPF first, wraps and stripes second.
