While driving yesterday about 180 miles, my infotainment system took a dump. Mid drive, could not connect to android auto, could not connect to Bluetooth and the music or radio volume became non functional. Could not increase volume past a whisper. Was working perfectly for first half of drive. Tried to disconnect all, but it says unable to disable. Did not want to stop and turn off car and restart. So drove through, annoyed. Parked in driveway, shut it off, unloaded crap and let it sit for a few minutes. When I turned it back on to pull in driveway, it worked perfectly. I think it was laughing at me!

It's the same reset procedure. Works while driving just the same as while parked.
Press and hold the right seek as well as volume down button for several seconds and it will reset.

Clearly, I am a ludite, not sure what the right seek or volume down buttons are. When I look at the infotainment screen, I do not see those. Sorry for being so dense.

The buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. The seek button is labeled with an arrow to the right ">", and the volume control is the little joystick that goes up or down. So, push the volume joystick down and the right seek for about 7 seconds until the screen shuts off

This also happened to me yesterday on a 120 mile one way trip to SFO. Several power cycles did not work.

After hours of trying to fix which included removing phone, re-pairing, and I also could not get AA to show up in Sync. I finally got everything back after a MME night sleep.

Yesterday was by far the worst day for me MME tech wise. Paak is such a POS. I was stupid for not taking the one fob. I had to use the backup code the rest of the day and that doesn't always appear when trying to start. I'm actually starting to hate this car because of the crappy software.

To say its half baked would be a compliment.

Now I get it, On the steering wheel controls. Will try that and see what happens.
Don't do what I did....
I was trying to reset SYNC and I pressed right seek and volume UP. It got very loud very fast in the car.

Today, all of the sudden, my phone couldn't connect to car's bluetooth, and all FM presets disappeared. Interestingly, saved Sirius XM channels are still there. Probably my car got mad that I visit this forum too much and on my way to replace it.

Did I mention that it happened to a two-year old X3?

Paak has never worked right, and there is plenty of information about it. Do yourself a favor and just take the FOB with you, Someday they will get it right, but I am starting to think there is a fundamental flaw.

I have the same proble with my AA bluetooth connection, unfortunately.. It all starts very well but crashes after a while and it's impossible to connect again. Waze might work (if I'm lucky) but the sound from music app or Audible are missing. When it gets to that point, it's impossible to connect to AA nor Bluetooth. Resetting info system doesn't help either... The only thing that works is to stop the car and start again. Really annoying! Help!!!

Have the same issue with Android Auto. Multiple phones don't solve the problem but I'm usually able to BT to connect eventually. Just not the AA connection (wireless or wired).
