We have a 2023 Mach e AWD premium, having a few issues that my local Ford dealer are finding hard to fix.

1. The “wake up/walk up” feature. Stopped working…the car doesn’t sense you when you approach so no welcome lights, puddle lights and there’s a significant delay when pressing to door button to open and the hands free tailgate doesn’t work. Dealer has tried 2 other Mach e’s they have in and their all the same 🤨

2. NSF tyre has a pressure problem. Loosing PSI over the week. Had new tyre but keeps doing it.

3. Heated front windscreen, there’s a strip right down the driver eye line that’s takes an age to de-mist.

I think they think I’m being a pain in the rear keep banging on about these problems!

Any suggestions?
Thanks

A few questions.
Issue 1: If you're using the Fob, have you changed the fob battery to see if that fixes it? Have you verified in the settings that "Welcome Lighting" and "Auto-Fold Mirrors" are enabled? Settings - Vehicle - Lights? When you were at the dealer, did the check the 12 v battery? If the car is in a "deep sleep" to preserve the battery, this disables the walk up feature.

Issue 2: Sounds like there is either a slow leak somewhere on the tire and seal on the rim might not have a good seal. Take some soapy water and spray it all over the tire. Look for a fast stream of bubbles. If you don't want to do that, take it to whomever replaced your tires and have them check that tire.

Issue 3: Its possible that you might have a heating element going bad.

I didn't think any of the '23 models had the hands free tailgate. They couldn't get the chips due to pandemic era supply chain issues, and I think they still promised it on the '22 models, and would retrofit them when they got the chips in. But even though it was listed as a feature on the site when I ordered my '23, I believe they had fully removed that feature in the '23 and later models.

Did it ever work for you??

The OP seems to be located in the UK. In Europe the cars were equipped with different options, like a heated windshield (I wish we could have that here). The kick to open liftgate is still an option over there, I believe.

Regarding the tyre, perhaps the valve stem is the culprit…. Try the soapy water suggested above focusing on the valve stem with the cap removed. If that’s where the problem is, most likely the core of the stem can be replaced. If you do it yourself deflate the tire first so the air pressure doesn’t send the stem out like a shot when it’s loose.

Wish I had a heated windshield and kick to open boot … 😎

Ford has offered front heated windshields on various USA models over the years. Why they do not currently do so as an option appears to be another blunder.

In the windscreen the elements are between lhe laminated panes.
If in warranty, have them replace with another OEM Quickclear. If out of warrantyI'd live with it as they are beaucoup quid...
