You know how to program them, right? Once your settings are where you want them, hold the button until it beeps. No need to use the touch screen.

Not saying this is the issue but if you keep going into reset mode perhaps something is wrong with your overall system which is what is affecting all the above. Others are way more knowledgeable than me as I have had zero issues so I have had to deal with nothing. If I were you; though, I would look into what is needed to do to reboot your system, maybe even disconnect 12V, and then reset everything. Just seems to me that there may be one major issue causing many small bugs. (Or not - as I said I am no expert)

In the (online) owner's manual there is a section on removing the panels around the frunk to access things like the fluids and the 12V battery. Once the rear panel is removed (maybe the right-side panel as well, I can't recall), then you can remove the negative battery cable. Leave it off for about ten full minutes. This will reset all modules in the car. The modules will remained fully programmed, but any odd junk left in temporary memory will be gone. If you continue to have issues with the car, take it to the dealership. There are many who have had to have various modules replaced.

Might look in the owners manual but I would also search the forum as it may or may not help at all. To reboot Sync there are two buttons to depress on steering wheel but I do not recall as I have not had to deal with that issue. Disconnecting the 12V is a bigger deal and I am not saying to go that route at this time. It just seems odd that you also have your screen rebooting regularly which leads me to think there could be something else wrong. Maybe, hopefully, someone else may chime in with additional advice.

Does anyone else have the issue of the mirror setting position resetting every time you get in the car again? I'm the only one that drives it and I have adjusted the mirror position several times and it always goes back to the default. It has never worked in 11 months owning the car.

The thing is, it is the door buttons that are not remembering. I have 2 settings, one for myself and one from my wife, and it remembers neither. I will look in the settings for this.

Issue 2: Recently, about a week or so, the mirrors are not folding in when I lock the car. The folding in option works by itself, and when I used to lock the car one week ago, that was working well, but recently, in the last week or so, it has stopped doing so. The puddle light also is not showing up.

Have you received one of the 6.x.0 updates? One of the recent updates caused this problems for lots of folks. There are at least 3 threads discussing it.

This used to happen probably once a month, (for the first 3 months) but for the last couple months, it has been happening almost every week. This is quite frustrating, since the rear camera also does not show up nor do the parking/other sensors work, when it is in "reset" mode. Everything comes back up in about 90 seconds, but those are 90 seconds I cannot leave or I'm left wondering if I should even drive.

The seat thing is annoying AF, I've had that since we got the car. It also doesn't seem to update when I readjust and press the button to set it. It just goes back to previous.

Ive also had it act like I have easy entry/exit on at random times even though we have verified it's off. That one is not only odd but borderline dangerous as we have car seats in the car and that thing goes very very low/back.

The screen issue might be the hardware issue that happens to some Mach E. I thought that it only happened to 2022 but based on your experience and another OP from the link (2 post up). This problem also happens to 2023 (2023.5?). Here is another link.

The seat memory issue...................my experience since day 1.
I drive car, it remembers my position and my profile. Wife drives car, then I get in car, my profile comes up but her seat position is still there. She's much shorter than I am so I have to remember to push button 1 so I can actually get in the car. Pain in the knee

Issue 3 - this was happening to me for the longest time and it drove me crazy because the screen was black and everything controlled on the screen was frozen. I could drive but that was all I could do until it reset. The dealer couldn't figure it out so I had to live with it. A few weeks ago, miraculously, it started behaving normally. No update/no reason. Suddenly the blue wavy lines and pony appeared on the screen as it normally should. All I can say is I am a happy camper now. But take it to the dealer and see if they do something.
