Just answered my own question. Turned on the car, put in drive, started the app and the functions still work! Thanks Ford!

Well in drive doesn’t mean driving. It will likely lock out above 8mph like the other features including some parts of CarPlay.

Spoke too soon. Halfway down my my driveway all functions stopped.

You are correct. Halfway down my driveway it put me in Ford nanny mode.
