Welp, 30 days post order and I've watched every MME video on YouTube and read every article. What on earth can I do now to pass the time?

1) Install the 240v outlet and start reviewing EVSE’s on YouTube. See what utility rebates list as their supported EVSE’s.

2) Download and read the manual.

3) Decide on the wash and wax supplies.

4) Buy a case of TUMS.

Stop watching videos. Read the threads on the forum.

And, read the manual.

I spent months ingesting this forum before I got mine, almost scared me off ;). Joking aside, I learned a ton here and was ready for the good and the bad when I finally got mine.

Already have the line from my outgoing Tesla. Read the manual. Have a garage full of detailing product.

Tums it is.

I'll do what I do with every car. Tell the dealer I want no prep or "detailing" done to the car. When I get home: wash car. Clean with iron remover. Wash. Clay Bar. Wash. Polish. Apply top coat.

With my Model Y I did this and used Adams Graphene Ceramic coating. 18 months later and the stuff is still slick and hydrophobic. The only maintenance to it I've done is using the Adams Graphene spray after washing.

Yes, I know many swear by PPF and I almost jumped in that pool too. I just couldn't justify dropping $8k for it (at least in my area). After 30k miles I have just 2 small stone chips on the front end of my car on paint which, if I went by the Tesla forums, was as fragile as a 98 year old's skin. Personally, I think the PPF manufacturers have done an absolutely brilliant job convincing people, through social media and forums, that they're being foolish if they don't PPF their new car.
