Question for L2 chargers. I can charge with an Emporia L2 charger at my home and meet the target of 80%. Drove to my daughters 140 miles away and plugged it into their L2 charger and it charged 100%. It’s also an Emporia. What am I missing? How do I fix it? I don’t need to charge to 100% and I don’t see where to set a target range when I am not at home. It is not a public charger so I cannot select it from available charging stations. comments/suggestions?

Charge level targets are set by location. Now that you have charged at your daughter’s, you should be able to select that location and assign a charge limit to it.

Also, new charge locations do not show up until you are done charging. If you want to set a new location you have to charge for a bit (couple minutes? less?) then create a new location in the ford pass app: energy -> target charge -> "+" in top right. Then name, select the charger location (should be in the list), and set desired target charge level.

I've requested a universal charge limit for a long time. Maybe someday...

EDIT: You may have to unplug before the location shows up in the list....

Some people have reported being able to select a new location during their first charge there. I haven’t tried it myself.

Yes, thx, I WAS able to see the location AFTER I charged. I haven’t charged again to see if it would honor my charge limit because my daughter’s charger is set to charge at night for reduced rates and I had to leave before that next cycle. We’ll see how it goes next time I am there.
