Silly question and couldn’t quickly find this searching. I don’t often fast charge…

Job 1 AWD Select

I thought with the recent updates, over 80% should be faster?

I was chugging along at ~80 kW until 80% then it dropped to 32 kW

When I recently attempted to charge to 100%, the last 10% (90->100) was excruciatingly slow...

While at an EA station, prepping for 100% charge for my upcoming road trip this weekend, my Lightning went 30->90% in about 45 minutes at 150kW/h.

When it said 100% target charge, it would have taken over 75 minutes to get that last 10%.

I stopped the charge and went home at 90%.

Yea… same happened to me.
EA station was complementary so figured I’d get my moneys worth… but 90-100 was so slow. Really should have left after 80!

I heard the EA chargers have been free for over 2 weeks!

Wonder how long that will remain free ???

EA should be 44kW on an ER from 80 to at least 90.

EA is updating software and screwed it up that's why it is free.

You really dont want to be going more than 32 KW with your battery above 80%. The amount of heat generated from forcing electricity into an almost full battery would pose a real risk of battery degradation.
