I have noticed that the range reduces or leaks down 5-10 miles overnight when idle. Is this normal for this car or any all electric car?

While plugged in? Does it continue subtracting on subsequent nights? My first thought would be ambient temperature differences impacting range estimates between evening and morning.

I second this. Are you losing battery percentage or just range guesser miles. Because it always gets colder overnight when the Big Orange Ball of Fire goes away. And colder equals less range.

It does this while not plugged in. (I will install my charging station at home soon, just got the car recently)
I guess I should pay more attention to the battery percentage. I mostly watch the range guesser. As an example, I charged to 80% - 171 range, the next morning it was 161. Last night it was at 145, this morning it is at 140. Most mornings I have noticed it reduced from the day before.

I dont think its the temperature since I live in LA and the low is only 52 degrees

If I drive it at the 3 pm in the afternoon and then it sits idle until 3 pm in the afternoon the next day, should it be exactly the same or does the battery range drop a little?

Your best bet is to ignore the predicted range. If you look at your battery percentage instead, I think you'll find that it's not dropping nearly as much.

You may see a percentage or two every other day or so if you don’t charge. But even a few degrees difference in temp will effect your predicted range more than you’d guess.
We hit 80° here for the first time since I bought my car and my miles/kWh went from 3.1 (at 76° yesterday) to 3.5 (at 82° today). I was going a little slower today but only enough to historically count for 0.2 miles/kwh. So for my data, the 6° temp difference meant 0.2 miles/kwh or 17 miles on a full charge.

Also it seems to take several hundred miles for the guessometer to quit lowballing your range estimates so egregiously. There are other threads on this topic, but you can get a better idea of real range from your average consumption and battery percentage.

I keep wondering why my estimated range only keeps showing about 2.5 miles/Kwh battery left while my trip meter shows about 3.8 miles/kwh for the duration I've had the car. Hopefully estimates are more accurate once I drive more. I only have 200 miles on the car so far

Watch the percentage not the range from the Guess-o-Meter. Now while the car sits there doing nothing it will bleed some power from the battery as it will tap into the cars main battery from time to time to top off the 12 volt.

The GOM is showing 352 miles of range available. I'm not expecting to get that however since I'll be on highway tomorrow for the most part. We will see.

I, and probably OP, would be curious to see if the GOM still says 352 this morning before you head out, or if it’s a couple miles lower but still at 100%.

Experienced a some-what similar issue today. I charged the Mach-E to 90% overnight. I unplugged this morning at 9am thinking I was going to go somewhere. Ended up not going anywhere until the afternoon. When I got into the Mach-E at 4p, the SOC showed 88%. Any thoughts? Battery Management? First time I noticed it...maybe a weird fluke.

Oh, and I did check...there was no puddle of electrons on the ground. @generaltso
