It's been mentioned already, but for emphasis -- leave it plugged in. Set your max charge limit. And forget about it.New owner here, I tried searching for this but I couldn’t find any posts.
I need advice, when the car hits 100%, or whatever your max % is set to, do you unplug it/stop the charger? Or do you leave it connected all night?
I have a ChargePoint Home Flex as my charger. I want to do whatever is best for the battery, but also allows the car to pre-cool/heat when it’s time to leave.
Thoughts?
In fact, it's good practice to "Always Be Charging" (ABC) at all times. Just set your charge limit and you're good. Car will stop drawing power except to keep the battery conditioned.
