I like to drive. I enjoy modern cars and the Mach E is a modern car that feeds my inner gadget freak. But driving a modern car isn't at all like driving a car anymore.

Drop by an antique car show and ask the owners what it's like to drive a 50, 60, 70 year old car and they'll be hard-pressed to put into words what it's like. "You have to do it to understand", they'll say.

Stop in at my house and drive one of my 50's and 60's British roadsters and you'll see that driving has nothing to do with 0-60 times. It's all about taming the beast.

One thing i really don’t like is very light steering. Seems like newer cars can be steered by just blowing on the steering wheel. I hate driving cars like civics, fusions, or whatever-it feels like the steering isn’t connected to anything.

Whisper mode steering is too light for me so I’m glad the other two modes stiffen up the steering feel.
