John- super well thought out plan I'm in ... and I'm still at least 7 months away from my pony galloping into my garage! This was a big miss in my book - they all should have the GT illumination.

Massive respect for the engineering - and entrepreneurship.

John, I was checking out my current Pony logo and noticed it fits REALLY tight into the grill. I noticed your pony illuminates from the edges, are the edges transparent? It looks like they are, at least on the prototype. Does the light pass through the edge? If not, do you have any concerns that the tight fit might massively cut down on the light illuminated? Even if they are, how much light will be lost because of the tight fit? Have you tried it on a real car yet? I think if you could put your prototype on your car (even if it requires all the extra electrical stuff still), it might help sell a lot more since people can see what it would look like on the car.

The light you are seeing comes from the front edge. The sides are "frosted" to help reflect the light to the polished front edge I'm working on the second prototype now, and have been waiting to get that one done to do the test fit and install demo. Strength and uniformity are key focuses to ensure this is a great product. I feel gold about it, and yes I know the space well ?.

Also, yes. Said differently, the breaks for early backers were "sweet." $239 is way better than $265+ for a retail version; way better than the $315 Mustang coupe lighted emblem; and, way better than buying a $620 GT logo and spending the $ to custom fit it.
Hopefully more people jump on the opportunity while they can.

In many states, red lights are illegal and reserved for emergency vehicles. In NY I can only add white lighting. Massachusetts also prohibits red or blue lights.
