Update from @supared on Kickstarter 4/24:

Hi MME Family, I hope you are all having a great weekend. This one will be short because of time. I just want to let you know that 3D CAD design was completed, RFQs for plastics were done, a vendor was awarded, and DFM (design for manufacturing) review was completed with the vendor early last week. Molds are being machined now. Circuit board assemblies are going great and will continue while we wait for plastics to come in. You can see a lot coming out of reflow below just before testing. Based on observation and learning with 3D printed rapid prototypes, I have designed another internal plastic component that will be a major aid in fast, reliable assembly. In summary, I just wanted to be sure you know we finished design and are well into manufacturing all components - firing on all cylinders. Thanks again for your patience and partnership. It's close!​

Looks like final molds coming any day and then on to final assembly. Should see this arrive about a month before my Mustang does!!!

Yea not much activity on this thread. But John had been updating his Kickstarter pretty regularly! Seems we're nearing the finish line

Agreed today to sell my MME to Driveway.com because my Lightning should arrive later this month. I was an early supporter of this Kickstarter so assuming this does ship I will have a lighted pony kit available to sell if anyone is interested. Just need to unload it for something, even if I don't get my original investment back.

@SD Marc can I purchase one of these ? Do I just donate to the kickstarter campaign to do so? How much are they ?

I am also wondering this. What would the price be for someone who didn't contribute to the Kickstarter?

Hi everyone. Sorry to have been somewhat absent here. I've been consistently busy on the project. I hope that backers are getting regular enough updates. I'm very excited to say Pole Position Ponies are going through final assembly and will be shipping very soon. Below is a screenshot from testing one of the assemblies. I'm extremely happy with the finished product. It is very good.
I'll also have limited spots for late backers to the project. More details to come.

Orders are going out now and there’s a chance to get one if you weren’t in time for the original funding round. The link is in the latest update on the Kickstarter page. I just put my order in this morning. @supared did a great job and put in a lot of work that’s paying dividends.

Final product looks fantastic! Very excited to have this on day one for my car whenever Ford decides they want to build it.
