Not sure when this started, but I noticed that after turning off my car, the headlights are staying on for like 10-15 minutes. The only setting I could find in the menus were to have the lights go off after 120 seconds or less, but it's clearly staying on much longer than that.

Any idea how to adjust that? Don't really need it to stay on for that long.

Go to the car, and rotate the knob to OFF, then back to Auto. Then have your dealership replace the defective light control.

Known issue? Covered under warranty?
Known issue that affects 2021 and 2022 Mach-Es. I bought a new headlight switch online because I didn’t want the dealer messing with my modded switch cluster. It wasn’t too expensive and takes less than 2 minutes to swap the cluster of switches. ??

Oh, I didn’t realize this was common. I’ve noticed it occasionally on my 22 CR1. I just did a quick search, and I didn’t see it in my first pass, but does anyone have the TSB number or other notification so that I can bring it up with my dealer? I’m getting close to the 3 year mark, so I might as well try to get some of these things worked out.

I’ll keep searching with some different search terms, so maybe I’ll find something else for my car!

Edit: Is this SSM 51696? I'll have to check for the error code
