How to Turn Off Securilert After Button was Deleted?!?!?

I unfortunately had Securilert On when the software update occurred that supposedly removed it. However, only its icon was removed from Ford App!! How can I turn off the Securilerts???? Thx

Based on some other quirks of other removed features…. I’m going to bet that you can’t. But if you can, it’s probably by doing a master reset of the car. Hopefully someone with some practical experience will reply to you though. Don’t do a master reset just yet.

Haha, now why would they have thought of that possibility? You mean the customer might want to turn off the feature after we remove their ability to do so? ?

Thought this was all server side so they just had to tell it to not send out alerts anymore

Ha! Just noticing this now. Got annoyed at being notified that I just opened my own door so I turned it off. Shady dude in the lot today so I wanted to turn it back on. Time for a dash cam I guess.

It’s completely gone after an update. I do miss it. Do thieves and vandals recognize dash cams as Security devices and are deterred, or are dash cams just devices that Karens have as another means to irritate others when driving?!? Asking for a friend.

I've been trying to find the button to turn this back on for a while. I guess I can stop looking for it now.

Dang, I like seeing how often the Ford repair shop opens the door to work on my car.
