Load Retention Guard

I have just ordered the Ford Mach E Load Retention Guard Part Number 2490609 for my 2022 Mach E. This is the one that fits behind the front seats with the rear seats folded down. It will give my large two dogs enough room to be comfortable but secure. The whole boot is lined with a made to measure waterproof cover and so far is functioning well.

Has anyone fitted this product to their MME and if so what was their experience?

Well Ford wanted over £400 for their guard plus £150 odd for fitting! I found that securing my dogs with their harnesses behind the front seats was too roomy as they could get jerked about even though I drive gently with them aboard. So I opted for an independent company's guard that I fitted behind the rear seats which is much safer for them as they are totally secure. It's a reasonably tight fit for them but is okay for trips to the park. The sill is higher than my Kuga so I have to assist them up - no big deal and they are happy to be on the move again. For UK owners - the Hatchbag made to measure boot liner is well worth the expense and the dog guard is by Travall at £175.00 - both available to order online.
