Happened a couple of hours ago. Does nothing. Can’t press anything. The screen goes black after a minute. Music plays though lol.
I tried restarting the car after 2 hours and same thing. I tried the search bar to see if someone had something similar but nothing.
Another headache.
Did you get everything fixed?

Rotate your headlight switch to “Off” and then rotate it back to “Auto” or “On.” That sometimes fixes screen issues. ??

I’m kind of afraid to do this as I don’t have the 12v problem like a lot of people and I believe this might release the gremlins if I start pulling.

That and the battery is a PITA to get to.

Gotta pull off a bunch of panels to get to it and it’s easy to break or lose the clips that hold the panels in.

Oh wow that worked. Now how do you get the small screen to turn back on?

I had this too, did not notice if for a couple of blocks and did a double take when I first noticed it. First thing through my mind was, how do I know how fast I am going, but on local roads, I could just feel it by sight. Was thinking if on a highway, maybe Waze or one of those speed apps could stand in for a while. I guess if there is some traffic, just keeping in line with other cars can work too.

Same as other recommended, went home, lifted the negative terminal for a minute or so, put it back and all was fine. Have not had this problem again since. One of the latest module updates was IPC, maybe in part from problems like this. This is another reason to carry a 10mm socket with short extension in MME at all times.
