Main Screen Static

Any Thoughts on the screen static I am receiving before I go to dealer? Only happened once. The screen goes completely black after static for 5 seconds and then rebooted. All is fine now but obviously concerned.

My thought is if it's a one off that easily self-corrected, it's not worth your time taking it to the dealer. Just like your phone, your computer, your tablet, you will see random, minor software glitches from time to time. Unless it is happening so much that you think some module is damaged that they could replace, there really isn't anything a dealer could do to fix something like this, in my opinion.

Restart the sync system when this happens. On the steering wheel, press the next track button and the volume down button at the sand time. Hold them until you see the screen begin to reboot then release.

Funny thing is - I was in the Walgreens Drive through when this happened….

If it wasn't the whole screen I'd say it was wireless CarPlay, had this happen but it was only in the CarPlay section of the screen, it was like there was some wireless interference or something, I disabled and reenabled and it went away.

It was the whole screen….thought I was in the matrix.

I had something like that one time, it stopped after a bit and I never saw it again. I did take pictures.
