Main screen rebooted while driving

So I am not the only one who has noticed this. But I have my age, I was used to have blue screens with the earlier Windows versions, so I am not surprised. Ford is actually in that stage ?

Hi Ford. I appreciate very much that jou take the time to watch this forum and look in some problems. But, can you also publish the result of those exercises, please? Could help a lot of us understanding why we have a simular problem. Thanks.

I don’t think it was an OTA, nor do I think it was a heat issue. The most recent occurrence happened when it was about 80ish degrees. Again this didn’t start happening until about 2 weeks ago when I got an update. Perhaps I’m just reading into it, though?

Am I too late here. This just happened to me but not the main screen. The one above steering wheel while driving. Had no idea how fast I was going. Any resolution?? Is it 6.1. ? Was using CarPlay and directions

No answer as far as a resolution but an FYI if it happens again. This happened to me once and I happened to be using Waze (Android Auto) and it luckily had a speedometer - I never noticed before but it helped a lot in this scenario.

Started happening to me in the past 2 weeks. One time was really not justified, i wasn't touching anything. The 2nd time, i tried clicking a song in my playlist while i was listening to music from my phone. Crash, restart. Really surprising! Feels like a buggy computer to be honest, i fear the latest OTA update i received was bad, or, the recent trip to the dealer was bad! a 3rd time, the screen froze but didn't reboot while i was playing with the music playlist (scrolling to find a song). I force rebooted that one.
