Folks,

I happen to have a schematic for the pinouts of the BCM. However, the circuit schematic is not the same thing as a locator map. I am specifically trying to locate physical pinouts #66 and #67. One of these two pinouts controls the reverse rear center light and (kinda obviously) these two are right next to each other, "somewhere" on the BCM.

Any advice / pic with a red arrow / locator schematic / any other locating identifier for these two pinouts on a picture or drawing of the actual BCM would save me much time and I will be grateful for any knowledge and assist here.

In case the BCM schematic will be useful for someone here, I've attached a two-page 2022 Mach E BCM schematic PDF.

Thanks in advance!

Based on that schematic the CHMSL wire is the yellow and gray wire in cavity 57 of connector F. Looks like D and F are the only two 72 pin connectors, and D doesn't have a wire in cavity 57. Should be pretty easy to locate.

After reading your post again I realized you're looking for the reverse light. Still connector F. Cavity 66. Green and brown.

Ahhhh.... OK now I just got a clue. Yes that makes sense ? Thanks. Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest to find, ya know?

Yep. I have the reverse light purchased from a friend in Europe, with a red LED in the center scallop.
Tonight I just sourced a three-pin connector for the reverse light, which has a slightly different guideway than the North American two-pin reverse light connector.

I was chasing down the BCM pin to loop this third wire into... hence my question in the 1st post.

I already have the European cabin light switch, with the additional rear fog light controller inside the round light selector bezel. I know I can turn on the function and the telltale via Forscan... this is the missing piece for the modification.

I did this rear fog light mod on my old 2015 Fusion, and boy oh boy did it help out when I needed it in bad Winter weather, on the mountains of West Virginia... so I'm doing it to this car as well.

As Mike said, connector F (C2280F) has the pinouts you are looking for. It's the large one on top looking at the BCM which is mounted under the glovebox against the firewall. Just remove two panels in the photo below to get to it.

Yeah Mark's got it there, you'll have to drop the glove compartment and get C2280F off. Look at the position in the connector view, there are also usually tiny pin numbers molded into the plastic if you look very carefully.

Guessing you want to add pin 67 for the rear fog lamp.

Of course. Yeah I was really looking for info on where the pin numeration really lives, before I tore (too much of) everything apart in there.

My motivation for this pin hunt is described in a post just above... it's one of those months - long projects.
