If you don't have any fob, or a phone setup with PaaK, you can't start it.

If you don't own two or more fobs, you cannot buy a fob on the internet and then program it, so you must buy a fob at the dealer and have them program it. They need the car to do so, so if you have no fobs you will need to be towed to the dealer.

Thank you, I had a feeling that would be the answer. I have the app but not the WiFi.

Do MMEs in the UK allow you to setup a backup start code? It's part of the PaaK setup, so maybe not. And I guess it doesn't really matter if it's not already setup.

Since the UK doesn't have PaaK (I believe), having the app to start the car (which doesn't require WiFi, works fine with cellular) would not help you. You can remote start, but not drive, without PaaK or a fob.

I think you are right. PaaK not available in UK. But do they still get a backup start code? (I guess you need PaaK to set that up though...)
?

Cant you punch in code on the piller, then use the code in the car to start it and drive to dealer?

No. You can only start the car with the passcode, which isn't setup unless you have PaaK.

Here in the UK we can use the keypad on the B pillar to unlock the vehicle, open the frunk (sometimes) and lock the vehicle. So, using the factory supplied card (unless it is locked inside the car) you can enter the vehicle. However, without the fob you cannot drive the car. Because the UK does not have PaaK we are also prevented from setting up a code to enter on the centre screen to start and drive the vehicle.

However, in the UK we are supplied with two (2) standard Ford fobs programmed for the car. So if you have lost one then you have the other as your backup...
