A few days ago I was driving out of a parking lot, slowly (< 3 mph) over a speed bump, and suddenly my rear speakers got incredibly LOUD (not sure if related to bump). I had to turn the volume down to 1. At home I tried to turn off / restart the MME and I tried the Sync reset -- neither worked. Then, after a few days, it went back to normal. Anyone seen this problem? I am just wondering if it is a problem I might see again and if there is a suggested fix other than bringing it in to the dealer.

Wow, that’s one I haven’t heard of before. I would chalk it up to an odd glitch, until/unless it happens again. My system went a little weird the other day, just a bit of distortion/trebly sounding. Seemed to fix on its own a day or so later, although still doesn’t seem quite right. Possibly some sort of background audio update that went a little sideways?

If I had to guess, it is probably a glitch due to a non-immobilization update. Timing is everything and one of the components likely had a digital control stick (state) on one of the components that wasn't known by Sync due to a network communication glitch. Very strange that it took a couple of days to reset itself after restarting the MME and resetting Sync. I'm wondering if it was the fader control that got stuck, or maybe a rear amplifier update. Moving the fader control might have solved it immediately, but how would anyone know ;-)
In any case, while these glitches are rare, they do happen. It is unlikely to happen again.

Actually, I played with the fader and had to set it all the way forward to avoid the loud rear. Yes, weird issue that I hope I don't see again.
