"Lucky" new Mach E Owner

First time poster, but have been following the forums since I decided to order a Mach E a few weeks back. Originally ordered a GT but determined that is probably too much car for me (reading posters talking about how the headrests would impact their racing helmets let me know I was out of my league lol). I went to the dealer yesterday to change my order to the premium fully expecting to wait the 24+ weeks. When I arrived, I was informed that a customer had just cancelled their order that happened to be the same specs as the one I was going to order. I knew I had to act quick, so I took it for a test drive (which included driving it to my wife's job so she could see it)... A couple of hours later, I am the proud new owner of Mach E. First time owning a Ford and this car has been great thus far!

Premium ext range, awd. Thanks to the very helpful spreadsheet on this forum, I found a dealer with no ADM

The moral of this story is: Even if you order a Mach E don't just sit back and wait for it and then complain about how long the wait is. Check regularly with your dealer and or AutoTrader to see if one is available. If you find one then cancel your order and go buy it.

In my case I was getting ready to order and someone tipped me off to AutoTrader and I looked there. A dealer about 40 miles away had exactly wanted, even the color I wanted. I went from "about to order" to owning a Mach E in less than 48 hours.

We found ours on the Autotrader about 3 months after placing the order. It was a “ carbonized “ copy of the one we ordered. BTW, that car should arrive in a couple more weeks if anyone is interested!
